The Generation One (GEN I) metering system has a well-tested design made of 300 series food grade stainless steel and has become the standard for deep banding dry fertilizer.

The Generation Two (GEN II) was developed in response to customer inputs but maintains most all of the features of the Montag Generation I metering system.

Partnering with Hagie Manufacturing, Montag designed a machine with a new 12 row base and twin bin design, industry leading capacity, 120’ Hybrid boom and 90’ boom, integrated scales, ISOBUS rate control, and row to row accuracy unmatched in the industry.

The Montag liquid fertilizer system is designed for banding applications where the use of liquid fertilizer is desired.
